ABOUT US
THE SHOW
Run of the mill improv? Hardly. Strippers' Picnic prides itself on presenting strong thematic improvised journeys in their form: The Goody Basket. A love child of the Harold and the deconstruction, anything can happen from a monologue, a cappella songs, to an improvised ballet. The results are funny and smart, pretentious, and often delirious and twisted. They're serious about the silly and silly about the serious.
And that's just their long form! They also perform a loose short form drinking show called Thirsty!

REVIEWS
Picked as a "Best Bet" for the weekend by Chicago Metromix as part of SnubFest 2008.
The Onion says, "In this show, improv troupe Strippers' Picnic makes its first foray into long-form. Given the group's name and iO pedigree, it should be an odd mix of the high and low brow."
